Yud Tes Kislev in high school was inspired by the JLI course, "Worrier to Warrior," which explores how Chassidus enables us to practically change our emotions and serve Hashem better by shifting our focus from our nefesh habehamis to our nefesh elokis.
In a panel discussion with Risa Mond, Mrs. Gurary, and Chayale Wilhem spoke about how chassidus helps them deal with pain and challenges in life, and teachers farbrenged with their classes about what the source of true simcha is. An interactive workshop illustrated powerfully how to deal with negative emotions like shame, and what humility really means.
Lunch was a beautifully decorated seudah, complete with inspirational singing, and Rabbi Dovid Weinbaum addressed the students on the theme of the day. The day was topped off with a creative film, created and directed by BRHS students.

Wow, cool post. I’d like to write like this too – taking time and real hard work to make a great article… but I put things off too much and never seem to get started. Thanks though. University of Rawalpindi
